Healthy sexuality is a key component to a healthy life and an area of struggle for many clients. Supportive education and therapy in this area can help individuals maintain rich offense free lives. Panel members with a variety of expertise in this topic with different populations will address current issues in the field of sex education. In addition, panel members will discuss healthy sexuality for juveniles and adults in various settings as well as individuals diagnosed with Autism/Aspergers. Presenters will share their experiences and recommendations as well as engage in an open dialogue with panel and audience members. Issues addressed include the importance of working with clients on healthy sexuality as well as important areas of focus as well as responsivity factors.
Presenters include Alena Kearney, Ph.D., Janet DiGiorgio-Miller, Ph.D., Stuart M. Leeds, Psy.D. and Bobbie Gallagher, Ph.D., BCBA -D.
